Representative NSW teams decided

The Seniors and Youth ITS events took place over the weekend, the last of the two categories to complete their qualifying rounds.

We now have our NSW teams for the Australian National Championships in Brisbane in July. The teams listed were the top three pairs in their respective qualifying rounds. The representative teams are given blue NSW jackets and a modest travel subsidy for the ANC, where they will compete against other states.

The Open NSW team will comprise:

  • Simon Zhang – Yumin Li
  • Michael Courtney – Joan Butts
  • Tomer Libman – Lavy Libman
  • Peter Clarke (non-playing captain).

The Seniors NSW team will comprise:

  • Bruce Neill – Peter Buchen
  • Ted Griffin – Mike Hughes
  • Pauline Gumby – Warren Lazer
  • Julian Foster (non-playing captain).

The Womens’ NSW team will comprise:

  • Wei Zhang – Catherine Zhang
  • Jan Clarke – Di Coats
  • Ruth Tobin – Anita Curtis
  • John McIlrath (non-playing captain).

And the Youth NSW team will comprise:

  • Noah Klugman – David Zheng
  • Shannon Ooi – Duncan Lai
  • Yiwei Qi – Ida Anderson
  • Mitch Dowling (non-playing captain).

All representatives will don the light blue Bridge NSW jacket to take on other states at the Australian National Championships in Brisbane from 6-17 July.
