Summary
Bridge NSW is the peak body for bridge in New South Wales. In this role, it is a successor organisation to the New South Wales Bridge Association Limited (NSWBA). The NSWBA is now the Sydney Bridge Club, one of the member clubs of Bridge NSW.
Bridge NSW’s purpose is to foster a vibrant and inclusive bridge playing community across New South Wales through leadership, advocacy and support. Its objectives include:
- To advance the playing and enjoyment of bridge.
- To drive the development of bridge skills.
- To support bridge clubs to be successful.
- To represent NSW bridge players within Australia and to exercise the rights of NSW as a state association under the constitution of the Australian Bridge Federation Ltd.
Bridge NSW does not operate a physical office. The Executive Officer (Dave Havyatt) does not work full time but will endeavour to respond to email within 24 hours and will answer phone calls at any (reasonable) time.
