Nominations – Largest Three Clubs

The three largest clubs each get to appoint a Council member. The following are accordingly appointed to Council. Their statements are provided to assist clubs exercising their vote in considering the balance of the Council.

  • President North Shore Bridge Club.
  • Retired with experience as CIO, Product & Marketing Director for a small to medium enterprise. Extensive experience in Project Management in Telecoms, IT, Product launches and Website launches.
  • I learned bridge in COVID and was instantly hooked, very keen to be a better player when I have the time.

Mary Anne Loveridge

  • Succeeded John Scudder as Chairman of NSWBA in November 2023. Currently Chairman of Sydney Bridge Club.
  • I am volunteering to be on Council to continue to foster the positive and collaborative working relationship between clubs and Bridge NSW that was fundamental to us achieving the change that has created Bridge NSW and essential for our future success. 
  • I believe the Council will be an effective forum to learn from each other and find solutions to some of the strategic challenges facing Bridge  – a process that should guide where our limited resources are best invested. I am very keen to be part of the process and contribute where I can.

  • Owner and manager of Trumps Bridge Centre in Mosman.
  • I have always been a Bridge teacher, writer, director and administrator and my passion is still helping with writing and offering advice re teaching. I rarely play events these days, although I was once an Australian Youth Champion.
