Congress Disciplinary and Ethics Committee

Bridge players should be:

  • polite and courteous to partners, opponents and officials at all times;
  • have respect for other people’s rights to have different opinions;
  • play in a proper, mature and inoffensive manner; and
  • be aware of their obligations under Laws 73 and 74 of the Laws of Duplicate Bridge.

 

The Bridge NSW Congress Disciplinary Regulations cover the circumstances when these standards are not followed.

Reported breaches of acceptable behaviour are investigated and dealt with by the Congress Disciplinary and Ethics Committee (CDEC). The current members of CDEC as stated in the list on the right of this page.

The Bridge NSW Complaint Reporting Guidelines are provided to assist players or officials who wish to have a complaint investigated.
