Host a State Championship

The ABF Masterpoint Scheme allows state bridge associations to run State Championship events in many categories.
Bridge NSW organises the State Pairs, State Teams, State Mixed Pairs, State Mixed Teams, State Youth Pairs & Teams, and Teams of Three.

Clubs may apply to host any of the additional championships listed in the table at the bottom of this webpage.

Bridge NSW encourages all NSW clubs to apply to host State Championship events.
In doing so, Bridge NSW aims to:

  • Increase inclusion and participation, providing access to State Championships to players of all experience levels
  • Contribute to the entire NSW bridge community
  • Increase overall participation in State Championships
  • Avoid direct competition with its member clubs

Timing

If you would like to host a State Championship event in the following year, please complete a State Championship application form before end of the current year. If successful, you will be required to complete a licence agreement, which needs to be completed, signed, and sent to office@bridgensw.com.au.
