Monday online leagues return for Winter

July 13, 2025

Looking to rug up and have some fun on chilly Monday nights? The Winter seasons of our two online competitions – the Online Pairs League (OPL) and the Online Teams League (OTL) – commence Monday 21 July.

Want to develop your game?

OPL is for Pairs and runs weekly from 7:30pm to 9:00pm, featuring a light 12-board format. With over five divisions in Autumn, you are certain to come up against evenly matched competition, which makes it a great league for advancing your bridge skills and experience.

The OPL Winter season runs from 21 July to 9 September, with no breaks. Up to three substitutions are allowed for the entire season.

Special offers:

  • 50% refund for Youth and players with fewer than 100 Masterpoints
  • $10 refund for players with fewer than 300 Masterpoints

Keen to try a Teams format?

OTL involves teams of four or more people competing every Monday night over 24 boards from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. The league attracts some of the state’s best players in the upper divisions, but also those with Pairs experience who are looking for a new challenge.

The OTL Winter season runs from 21 July to 15 September, with one week off to accommodate the World Championships in late August. Unlimited substitutions are allowed.

Great bonus:

  • One club team can have their entry fee fully refunded – a saving of $560! In the Autumn season, Ballina, Illawarra, and Randwick each submitted a team and played for free. Team players must be from the same club, and the team must complete the season
