State Open Pairs winners crowned

November 4, 2025

A huge congratulations to our new State Open Pairs Champions, Wieslaw Przewozniak and Patrick Jiang! They cleared the rest of the pack by 2.31 red points.

In clear second place were Cheng Huang & Michael Zhu, while Nicoleta Giura and Nick Hughes held of the rest of the pack to finish in third place. Well done to the top three Pairs!

Country Pairs

In the Country Pairs, top honours went to Eunice de Vries & Wendy Mitchell, flying the flag for our regional players!

Spring Swiss Pairs

Wrapping up the weekend on the Sunday, the Spring Swiss Pairs saw bridge legends Warren Lazer & Pauline Gumby lose only their first match to take first place with some large winning margins on the board.

Also only going down one hand, Linda King and Avril Zets netted themselves a tight second place from Michael Machado and Kamalesh Gupta, who won all of the matches by smaller margins to come a respectable third place.
