Exciting new Spring Nationals program

Sydney Spring Nationals 2025 (SN25), NSW’s largest bridge event over 9 consecutive days, has received a face lift. And it’s good news for all players.

The event takes place 18–26 October at Canterbury Park Racecourse. With 18 events over 9 days across all levels – from Novice to Open – this year’s program offers something for every bridge player.

Event highlights

  • Teams and Pairs events for Novice, Restricted, Intermediate and Open levels
  • New Open Teams championship: A first for Australia – five days of double elimination play modelled on the English Spring Foursomes, with Plate and Shield options for eliminated Teams meaning play for everyone across 5 days
  • Three x 1-day Pairs events for over 300 and under 300 Masterpoints
  • Mini-Monday (20 October): An introduction to congress match play for those new to congresses. It features a talk, 27 boards of matches, lunch, and expert review of play. All for $30!
  • Gumby-Lazer Mixed Teams: Newly named in honour of bridge legends, Pauline Gumby and Warren Lazer, running across four days.
  • Early bird discounts on offer before 30 August!

  • The Ashfield train stations is close by (Canterbury station is closed)
